Bookmark Bar Tips!





Can't find your bookmark bar on your Chromebook or Chrome computer? Well it's very simple to find. Just push Ctrl shift b. Your book mark bar will be back!

Don't want any words on your book mark bar because the words take up to much space? Or want to name your book mark? That's an easy fix! Left click with a mouse or one of those fancy mouse pads. Or if you have a laptop just simply left click by taping using two fingers. Then click edit, then simply delete the name or add the same you want. Then your done!

How to change profile on Google


1st) Either search the picture you want, right click it, and save as.

2nd) Or take a picture on your camera, click on it in your gallery, and press the button with a upside down triangle inside a box.

3rd) Open a new tab.

4th) Press on your current profile picture in gthe top right corner of the tab.

5th) Press on your current profile picture again.

6th) Press the 'Select a photo from your computer' button.

7th) Seclect your photo/file.

How to Pin an App To A Task Bar

Do you want to stop going on Google Chrome and searching for something and it taking 5-10 minutes to get there. Well here's a quick tip on how to get there faster and save time.

> Press the circle button at the bottom left of your screen

> Find the app you want to pin
> Right click the App
>
> Press the pin to shelf option

> That's It it should be at your task bar

How to Change Your Profile Picture

Wondering how all of those kids have changed there profile photo to something really cool? Well I will show you how to have the coolest profile picture


  1. Go into google and search whatever you would like for your picture. I chose a Starbucks sign.
2. Then you have 2 choices you can either go to classroom or drive
3.If your in drive go to the top right corner and click on your profile picture

4.If your going into classroom you will click on the three lines in the top left corner
5.Then scroll all the way down to settings and click settings
6.click onto your profile photo
7.Then if you want to upload a picture press UPLOAD PICTURE , if you want it to be a picture of you click WEB CAMERA


8. Choose your photo then your done! 
ALSO: if your picture doesn't come up right away you might need to close your Chromebook and/or wait

How to use Canva



Canva is a website that lets the user create presentations that show information with pictures. Once you sign in, you will see a screen that shows different formats you can use to create your presentation. To see more choices of formats, you press the more button. Then, you will a screen with more formats. Select the format you choose. After you choose your format, you can select the "Layouts" button on the right of the screen to select one of many layouts. After you choose your layout, you can also add elements. Some elements are grids, frames, and shapes. You can also add text boxes by pressing the "Text" button the far right. In the text section, you can choose a variety of different fonts to choose from. When you find the font you want, you click on it and the text box appears on your presentation. Another tool is background. In this section, you can select backgrounds for your presentation. The final tool you can use is uploads. Here, you can upload pictures from your computer to your presentation. To do this, you select the uploads button on the far right and then select upload your own images. This will bring up pictures from your computer that you can upload. You select the picture you want, and it will be brought up under the "Upload your own images" button. You click and hold the image and drag it to your presentation.

How to add a link into a draft

Need that one link that will finish your project? Well I can teach you how  to add it.  You will need the Google Shorten-er.

First thing you will need to do is:


  1. Find any link that you would like in your doc or slide, I'm going to chose a link of a cute puppy
  2. Click the shorten-er and press COPY
  3. Go into your doc and press INSERT
  4. Press LINK next to where you would like the link to be
  5. Paste the shorted link inside of where is says link
  6. (OPTIONAL) you name the link whatever you want you can do that by going over the box that says link and name it
  7. Your DONE! YAY!
